You've reviewed the "Ready", "Set" steps...now it's time to get out there and promote your 5P biz!
You want to attract visitors who are interested in what you are writing about -- people who are open-minded, genuinely in search of ways to build a successful business on the Net, and who do not mind paying for good information/solutions. A great Conversion Rate is guaranteed with these types of visitors.
Building traffic for your affiliate business can happen offline or online. Either way, think "outside" the box. So many people want to get on the Net but don't know what to do.
You have the answer... Site Build It!.
Make it easy for your target group to find you, Web site or not. Answer this single question and you'll do extremely well... "How can I get my RR URL in front of my target market's eyes, online or offline?"
Get creative. There are a near infinite number of ways to promote your business. It's just a matter of doing it!
Need some sparks to get the fire going? Coming right up...
1) Web sites
If you already have a Web site, wherever there is a natural fit within the content of a page, add an SBI! (or any other SiteSell product) recommendation, story, case study, example, accompanied by a text link (using your RR URL, of course). This is more effective than a pile of affiliate links at the end of the page.
Also, please feel completely free to use little snippets of information from the SiteSell sites to help you PREsell more effectively. Put this information into your own words to be more effective. Your visitors must trust and like you before they will follow your recommendation. Be yourself!
If you need a banner or text link but you're a bit shaky with HTML and want some help... just log-in to the 5P Club. Use the left navigation or the QUICK JUMP Menu to go to Snippet Build It! to create yourself a snippet of HTML code that contains your RR URL for that specific promotion.
And if you do not have a Web site, or if you do not have one with traffic, I seriously recommend SBI! as the single best way for you to succeed online. Of course, you don't actually need a Web site. Offline opportunities are tremendous, too.
2) E-zines
If you already have a popular e-zine, you don't need my advice. You know how to integrate SBI! information into whatever your newsletter covers.
If you do not publish an e-zine... start one. Write your own newsletter or e-zine. Discuss new developments on the Net, tips, good books/articles, or reviews about SiteSell products... or whatever is relevant and of interest to your target group. Provide a link to your RR URL in a natural, in-context manner.
3) Sig File
Create and use an eye-catching "sig file" in your daily e-mail exchanges. A sig file is simply a small bit of text and then your RR URL.
The text could be a PREselling description of the product, or something inspirational, or whatever you like. Its main goal is to get the reader to click on your RR URL.
My own personal sig file reflects my personal philosophy about life and work, all the while PREselling every time I send someone an e-mail. Here it is...
All the best, Ken ----------------------------------------------- "The biggest mistake people make in life is not making a living at doing what they most enjoy." - Malcolm S. Forbes (1919-1990) "We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." - Albert Einstein (1879-1955) - http://case-studies.sitesell.com/ -----------------------------------------------
Think about the number of e-mails you send out each day. Once you set up your sig file in your e-mail software, your mini-campaign is on automatic pilot!
4) Participate in forums or newsgroups, related to your business.
Allan Gardyne's forum at AssociatePrograms.com is the cream of the crop for affiliates. (Allan is recognized world-wide as the Affiliate Marketing guru.) And there are many other affiliate and general Net marketing forums. But, of course...
Beyond that, take an interest of yours (let's say, dandelion wine), and post to a related forum, too. As you PREsell your own personal "brand of one," you can explain to folks how you created such an effective site about dandelion wine (i.e., it's not necessary to be a "marketer of marketing material" to be a strong SiteSell affiliate), including a relevant link to Site Build It!.
5) Bid for keywords in Pay-Per-Click Search Engines.
This can be a cost-effective way to build a big list of lifetime customers in a hurry. The Affiliate Masters Course explains how to use the Pay-Per Clicks as part of your traffic-building strategies, if this is unfamiliar territory for you.
6) Paying for ads
This is only potentially profitable when you are selling or representing higher-priced products that have outstanding income potential, such as SBI!. Taking ads in targeted e-zines (ex., work at home, retirees, etc.,) can make sense. Test it.
7) Go offline.
Think of everyone you know that could/would/should/ build an online business. Think of every small business person you know who could benefit from the local and global exposure that a Web site can provide. Tell them about SBI!. No need to "make appointments" to do this -- just spread the word as the opportunity presents itself -- any day-to-day encounter is a great time!
You have friends, relatives, colleagues and neighbors who all have knowledge/skills/ information that they can convert into income. Get them thinking about things like...
What skills or knowledge do they have that others would pay to contract? http://service-selling.sitesell.com/
How could a Web site stimulate their existing offline business? http://localbiz.sitesell.com/
How could they simply convert information into dollars, in the most low-maintenance way possible (ex., for stay-at-home spouses, and busy 9-to-5'ers)? http://infopublishing.sitesell.com/
How can Multi Level Marketers finally use the Net profitably? http://networkmarketing.sitesell.com/
How about sales and rental agents of all kinds? http://sales-rentals.sitesell.com/
Do they have a business, but don't have the time to create a much needed Web site? http://services.sitesell.com/
Are they interested, but prefer to be "taught" how to create a Web business? http://elearning.sitesell.com/
The answers will spark ideas about potential incomes streams... services they can sell online or an infopreneurial business (based on their love of anything from RC Cars to Barbie Dolls) or perhaps even building a finder's fee relationship with a previous employer, etc. The diversity of this world, and of the businesses in it, is infinite. You just need to point the right people in the right direction.
The "Offline Sales Kit" (part of the Remote Order Entry Program) has everything you need to hit the ground running -- very appropriate since you are PREselling offline, in the real world!
From a strategy-packed Guide... to print ad templates... to a Power Point presentation...to information hand-outs...to an order form template... the Kit is your one-stop affiliate resource. And with the Remote Order Entry Program, you can "close the deal" anywhere, anytime!
If you're a Site Build It! owner, take advantage of three very powerful offline strategies...
And finally, of course...
